Griffin, the invisible man was still in Kemp's house. They were still talking. However, Griffin then explains to Kemp his first experiment that he did in the past. Kemp came to realize that Griffin was invisible because of the experiment. During his experiment, Griffin even tried to give drug to his landlord's cat. But it turned out to be a failure. During the days of the experiment, Griffin explained that he was very ill. So he decided to try the medicine too. That's how he became invisible.
