Book Review

The book that i've read for this assingnment is titled "The Invisible Man". This book is written by an author named H. G Wells. This book first started out with an unnamed man walking around Iping finding for an inn to sleep in. Then later on, as the story goes, the invisible man finally revealed himself to his long lost pal, Dr. Kemp.

Before he met Dr. Kemp, he went through a lot of troubles. He was always running away from all the things that he did. He would always find person to cover all his doings and would always be clinging onto several different people. All these while, he had been sleeping from places to places such as the inn, the department store, and Dr. Kemp's home. In the story, he murdered people and robbed people. The only job he did as an invisible man was to rob strangers from the streets.

One incident that really terrified me was that he even killed his own father to get money. That was definitely an outrageous act. I wouldn't do that to just get money. His actions were really cruel. At the end of the story, the inivisible man reavealed himself to his long lost pal, Dr. Kemp. This invisible man name was Griffin. They used to be friends back during the school days. Griffin told everything that he had been doing and told him a plan that he was going to do to get back his books. His plan was to kill Mr. Marvel. Dr. Kemp disagreed with the idea and told Mr. Marvel himself immediately. Sadly, Griffin's plan failed and he was caught.

This story really taught me to not be selfish in life. We may face certain problems in life but we have to face it ourselves. It also taught me to not find a person when we need to, it's a very sad thing to do.

The review may be a little short, but it was a very good review. I agree we should all be less selfish in life. Being selfish only brings more trouble to you and the people that are around you.
